This week we'll have some challenges, with 12 or more players out with some form of injury, cold, flu, or bronchitis. Despite that, we had 33 players energized and training hard Wednesday and two injured players helping coaches. With a handful of those ill players being starters, we'll lean on the depth we've developed this fall and tap the next man up!
Our last game against Boise we lost 48-10. Boise has been on the losing end of games against WWU and OSU, but they traveled with 17 and 15 players respectively. After speaking with their coach, it sounds like a few of their previously injured key players are back in action, and we expect this to be a tough fight. The Dawgs are motivated, and excited for the challenge.
