Match Preview: University of Oregon 2025
Friday evening 44 Huskies will travel to Eugene to take on the Ducks

Friday evening 44 Huskies will travel to Eugene to take on the Ducks. With a narrow win over Oregon at home last quarter (UW 14 - 10 UO), and UofO's earlier win against WWU, we expect two very tough games.
Kickoff will be at 12:00pm at Agnes Stewart middle school in Springfield, B-Side match to follow.
We've analyzed our WWU game, here are our major takeaways:
- Defense was strong most of the game, tackling WWU behind the gainline and forcing handling errors.
- Too many pick-and-gos. These are as exhausting as defense, and contributed to our fatigue, along with being predictable for Western's defense.
- Focus on a kicking / territorial game. Defend in THEIR half.
- Focus on counterrucking and poaching to win the ball back.
