Current Head Coach / Director of Rugby at UW (2018-Present) My rugby years starting at Shawnigan Lake School, BC. Attended and played at University of Victoria before transferring to WWU, coaching rugby for the Ferndale Boys and Girls Club. Upon aging out of college rugby, became head coach at WWU for two years ~2011-2013 while finishing undergrad. After moving to Seattle to attend grad school at UW, I coached Seattle Vikings youth. After graduating, was referred to UW to assist with coaching, shortly thereafter interim coach Tyler Sicelof left, and I became head coach at UW. During the spring since 2023 I have focused on recruiting for UW through HS rugby in WA, coaching the WA Selects and Loggers. I am currently engaged to Kate Sandoval, and we have a husky-chihuahua mix named Ginger. We like exploring the PNW together. I practice architecture at Graham Baba Architects in Capitol Hill, Seattle. We do primarily residential and commercial work, lots of adaptive reuse of old structures, and some civic architecture.
